1. What is The Donn of Tiki?

The Donn of Tiki is a feature-length documentary film about the life and times of Donn Beach, proprietor of the famous Don The Beachcomber line of bars and restaurants.

2. Where can I watch it?

Thanks for your interest in the film! Currently, it's playing in film festivals in hopes of attracting a distributor so that we can get it out to various streaming and VOD platforms. Eventually we expect it to be available on services such as Amazon Video and Apple TV. In the meantime, please check our homepage to see where The Donn of Tiki will be screening next.

3. What about a DVD/Blu-Ray release?

We are currently gathering materials for a Blu-Ray with various special features including director commentary, deleted scenes, recipe videos, behind the scenes content, and more.

4. I'd love to host a screening at my bar/home/local theater/Tiki marketplace etc. How can we make this happen?

Sounds like fun! We're looking into options to help facilitate these types of events in 2025. Please feel free to reach out to us at info@TheDonnOfTiki.com and we will make sure to follow up with you when we have more information.

5. Why can't you just put it on Youtube or Vimeo?

Despite our very successful Kickstarter campaign(Thank you, Kickstarter backers!), we needed contributions from multiple investors to finish the project. We owe it to them to try to earn their money back, and simply giving the film away for free makes that impossible.
